Baby Shower Follies

This Saturday I went to baby shower. I was hit with a painful truth. My stomach's circumference is the same as a 7 month pregnant woman. Really. I won't go into details, we'll just leave it there on the table for you to digest.

The fact that I've been working out 6 days a week (sometimes twice a day), for the last 3 weeks, has obviously made no difference. In fact, I've gained 2 pounds. Never mind that I've also been following the Weight Watcher's points guideline for 4 weeks.

Does anyone watch The Biggest Loser? Do you remember last season, when Melissa gained a pound early on at fat camp? And the trainers accused her of cheating? They said it wasn't physically possible for her to gain weight with all of the training and dieting. They yelled at her and made her cry. Now granted, I didn't like that chic in the least, but that could have been me!!

Next week I break out the measuring tape. It will be my 30 day point. I'm supposed to see a huge difference in inches, even if there is no change in weight. We'll see how that goes. You should expect an intensely angry blog post on 7/21.

What ever girl!
1. I am also very short! I think shorter than everyone there except my mom. :)
2. And when I did work out regularly and ate healthy, I gained weight. I was frustrated at first. But a few weeks maybe even a month later I finally saw the results.

I thought you looked great! You are gorgeous in the pictures! You being tall and wearing the dress.. I will admit, I was a bit jealous or wish I was had that blessing.... See More

Thank you so much for being there. It meant a lot!
Love you!

I guess we'll just have to be jealous of each other then. ;)

It was great seeing you too! You look awesome. Cute pregnant. It's a rare and much sought after title.
