I'm Waiting for the Bad Stuff

Things have been going so well lately. This isn't normal.

The house has been on the market since August. So I guess that's pretty bad. However, we knew the housing market was in the pits. Since we're in a townhouse, our chances of selling are even worse. I don't like the house, the neighborhood, the neighbors, or the responsibility of home ownership. On the plus side, we don't "have" to move. So staying here a few more years is doable, even if we hate every waking minute of it.

School is going spectacularly. I'm even doing well in my math class. Two months ago, looking at a math problem would make me queasy. Now, I enjoy looking at my notebook. It's chock full of homework problems that I've worked out. It makes me giddy.
